Horn Book Review

A unicorn wishes he had wings. When he admires the wings of a butterfly, bluebird, and swan, they say that their wings aren't right for him. After healing a magical winged horse, he finally gets his wish. The simple, repetitive text works well for beginning readers, and the decorative, dreamy (although somewhat cheesy) illustrations complement the story's tone. (c) Copyright 2010.
