"'Percy Jackson for Romance fans.' Delightful."--RT Book Reviews Forewords

When a single arrow inspires romance, can you really trusthappily ever after? In this magical rom-com, the descendants of Greek mythology must learn to live and love in a mundane world where Aphrodite's blessing can sure feel like a real pain in the quiver.

Eliza Herman (a.k.a. TheWorld's Worst Cupid) has spent her entire life carefully avoiding her calling as a Descendant of Eros. After all, happily-ever-afters are nothing but a myth. But when a family crisis requires her to fill in at the local Cupid-for-hire shop, Eliza finds herself enchanting couples under the watchful eye of her assigned mentor, Jake Sanders...the one man she could never get out of her head.

Before long, Eliza is rethinking her stance on romance--until things start going terribly wrong with her enchantments. Now Eliza and Jake must fight to unravel a conspiracy that could destroy thousands of relationships, including their own...and spell the end of Love itself.

No pressure, right?

Publisher's Weekly Review

Heger (Semi-Scripted) opens the Let's Get Mythical paranormal romance series with a delightful romp through Greek myth and lore as seen through the eyes of a young, insecure, and accident-prone Cupid, Eliza. As her 29th birthday rolls around, Eliza finds herself in Green Lea, Calif., once again out of work, out of prospects, and completely out of step with her family of Cupids. When her father has a heart attack and Eliza finds out that the family business is in dire straits, she has to put on her (metaphorical) big girl wings and help. This requires getting the Cupid license she failed to get years ago, and then finding a mentor outside the family. Naturally, the only mentor available is Jake, her childhood best friend and unrequited crush. Filled with comical happenstance, a hint of mystery, and chapters of groanworthy antics, this promises to be an opus for those who love (and love to hate) love.
