DOGS ON SWEATERSDogs on Sweaters combines our two great interests: dogs and knitwear. We have been knitwear designers, as Muir and Osborne, for many years, and animals have appeared in our designs right from the beginning of our business. In the early days there was the Princess Diana sheep jumper and the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing design for Cosmopolitan magazine. Our first knitting book was Pet Heaven: The Animal Accessory Bible. We appeared on The Martha Stewart Show, compèring a dog fashion show and demonstrating how to upcycle a cardigan into a dog coat. Then we decided to go three dimensional with our first Best in Show book, Knit Your Own Dog. This was a remarkable success that encouraged us to write a total of 7 books in the series. As with our Best in Show books, we are hoping that you use this book as inspiration and adapt our designs to your own particular dog. We have designed for men, women, children, babies and even dogs, so if you are a keen knitter, your whole family can now wear Dogs on Sweaters.
